This week we had the pleasure to chat with up and coming Zimbabwean cricketer, Brandon Mavuta. Though from humble beginnings, the 23 year old has already taken 13 wickets across all formats for Zimbabwe. In 2017 he lead the Rising Stars to a Zimbabwe One Day Cup title bush taking 8/38 in the final. He has played for Durban Heat in the South African T20 league. He also represented Zimbabwe at U19s level.

He has also represented Australia at U19s level and tried his hand at professional footy, following in his father’s footsteps who played nearly 200 VFL (AFL) matches for Fitzroy Lions and Sydney Swans.
